I had the pleasure of getting a ride on the PiSeas yesterday - what great fun! Stephen and I decided to venture out in high Santa Ana winds yesterday, but ony to motor around. I had a great tour of Beacon and Newport bays. I was really struck by the sheer number of boats! I mean, there are a lot of boats in NJ, but there are REALLY a lot of boats in this area! And, many of them are sailboats! We had a great dinner, then motored back under the light of the full moon. It was a great time, and I look forward to doing it again (and to reciprocating)!

Here are a few pictures:

A view from the cockpit (it was too cold to sit in the catbird seats!).

These poor crew memebers were out in the high winds.

The moon was actually pretty bright, even with all the bright lights of the homes around us.


One last night shot.


On my way to meet Stephen, I drove past here and had to take a picture. I didn't realize they were next door neighbors!

Wow....I noticed the palm trees and flag before I even read the comments....that wind was cookin!
