If you don't have one installed I would put on a track with a sliding padeye instead. It will cost a little bit more, but gives you a lot more flexibility in the long run.

Just did that to mine last week. (the track) Very easy to do. Used 24 inch track. I got the measurements form Don in FLA. 18 inches from the base of the mast.
