Does anyone know the thickness of the hull forward of the keel where the depth and speed transducers are? I'm not near the boat but need to order new depth/speed gauge. I'm assuming the Autohelm Bi-Data was standard for the boat and the Raymarine Bi-Data will fit the holes in the hull. Fair assumption?

If you are purchasing the speed transducer, you'll need the 'shorty' version.
I just replaced mine with a new one from Raymarine.
FYI, the original installation (from New) ran the speed and depth wires from the v-berth sump over the stbd side, along the water pipe towards the galley cupboard, then back across the boat to the port side aft of the bathroom under the cabin floor. Sort of an 'Z' configuration. Consquently, the wireing run was very tight!
When I installed the new one, I used a fish tape to get the wires directly from the sump to the port side under the bathroom floor and into the bilge area, then fished them up the hole where the manual bilge pump hose exits behind the port side shelf then aft to the trunk and up into the pedestal guard. The new wiring route is about 2' less, so there is slack where it's needed.
Maybe the routing is more direct with the wing keel than with the ballast tanks.

Thanks Paul and Dave. I don't need to take it to a pedestal since I have a tiller. In fact, there is excess cable coiled under the v-berth since it just goes back to the bulkhead. If memory serves, it runs straight back under the starboard settee.
