I put those same loops on my 250 to attach a spool of 1/4 in. Polypropylene line used in stern ties in the Gulf Islands. A standard practice along the Sunshine Coast and parts of Desolation Sound for anchoring in small coves and harbors. Many places even have rings imbedded for this purpose.
