Getting boat ready for cruise decided to share the shore power setup I set up. It is accepted by the marinas that we stay during cruising. I think the color is a factor but also the safety in using a smaller size breaker. The wire size is sized for the breaker and is kept stored when not being used. The weather isn't a factor when stored and the weather tight fittings protect system with moisture when cruising. The lighted recepticle does give an immediate indication the system is working and the ground is complete.
