I just read a message in the photo section that my member ship expired 9-30-16
I mailed a check for membership on 9-3-16. I just checked and it has not cleared the bank yet. Not sure how to check to make sure it has been received.

It takes a while with checks. Last year I sent a check and it didn't clear for almost 2 months.

That is OK but I am locked out of the membership section and cannot load photos.

Exactly. Pay-pal is the Gold Standard to renew.

I received a letter thanking me for renewing my membership, however, I am still locked out of the members area because of expired membership. I am not sure who I can contact to get this resolved. What appears to be the e-mail address for the WEB Master does not work. BTW I did get a Pay-pal account opened as of yesterday so I could pay my dues as the check has not cleared the bank yet. Guess I will have to wait to see what happens.

So it goes in the era of self service / no service everything. Yeah there's an app for that but there's nobody home, no one to call and you're SOL because the vp of operations decided customer service was not a priority. [/rant]

To the best of my knowledge this association has no paid employees. All work is done by the officers, who are unpaid volunteers. There are at least a couple offices that are unoccupied. If someone would volunteer to serve, some of these things would probably be done more timely. Any volunteers?

I just noticed that the treasure lives near me. I think I sent the check elsewhere which explains the delay. I am a volunteer in two other organizations and understand the problems there. I think the Catalina 25 group is doing a good job but it took me some tine to figure out how and who to contact. Turns out that my new e-mail address may have caused the problem. It is fixed now.
