Its going to depend on your light maker, my deck light is made by Aqua Signal and has a small 20 watt halogen bulb. Somewhat different than Randy's. It is just a single bulb with no built in "reflector". Bulb - Aquasignal 90470-7.
One other note, be careful handling the halogen bulb you want to avoid touching it with your bare hands. The oils from your skin will decrease the life of your bulb. Use a clean rag or gloves to install it. If you do touch it wipe it off to remove the oils.
I just noticed that mine needs replacing also. I have the halogen spot like Randy. Is there a cover under the bulb on the fixture or is it open? Mine does not have a cover and I'm not sure if one was there or not. Also, what holds the bulb in? Does it just press in?
