What are your Summer Sailstice plans?

Todd Frye and I are putting together an overnight cruise on Utah Lake. Details here:

I'm curious to know what others' plans are?

At least its a tradition.

We discovered Sailstice a few years ago, and were just immediately drawn to it's purpose. While Sailstice is celebrated on the Saturday nearest to the astronomical event,(which we also observe), it inspired us to spend as much time afloat as possible on the day of Solstice - June 20 2012 at 23:08 UTC (Jun 20 7:08 PM EDT).

Our plans are simple, go out early, stay long, and fly the sailstice burgee

There seems to be little interest on eastern Long Island as far as we can tell.

District 1 of the United States Power Squadron is holding its Summer Rendezvous and Conference at Saybrook (CT) Marina on the Connecticut River on Sat, June 23 My plan is to sail out on Friday to Westbrook, then head up-river on Saturday morning, and participate in the Conference. Sunday I will try to get back to Milford.

The tides should time out if I hit it right.

Bruce--if the tide is with you, go outside of Long Sand Shoal. If it's against, go inside.

I am attending a conference in Vancouver, BC that week and look forward to the possibility of crewing on someone's boat.
