<font color="blue"><font size="4"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Oct 23 2008... Came out to day sail and wind was good and coming from good direction, tide was with me, so I headed out to sail to Friday Harbor.
Made it to Friday Harbor and almost all the way using sail only.
Not much going on in town. Had a hamburger and Cadillac Margarita in a Mexican restaurant, only me and bartender were there, then went back to boat.

Next mourning ate breakfast at a restaurant can't remember name, on left side of Spring street, past bank, going up hill, fantastic. Another cup of coffee, read the free paper waiting for sun to show....paid moorage fee left around 9am.

It was 20.16 nm to Friday Harbor and took 6 hours 14 minutes...records on computer.

Motored back next day to Anacortes, a different route, making use of current, 36.02 nm and 7 hours 40 minutes.

Paul, I envy you being able to get into the San Juans so easily. I think we had breakfast at the same place. It was so good we went back the next day!
