Water Level Sight Gauge Easy Water Level Sight Gauge installation by Al Maniccia. March 2006. Skill level required: Not a lot. Time to install: 1 hour. Boat Status: Afloat or on trailer. Materials: Qty 2 of T's to connect hose to existing water lines. Qty 2 of Brass Elbows for top and bottom of sight gauge. Couple of feet of hose. About 1' of Clear water pipe to connect the two elbows. Small amount of sweat and toil. Description: Self explanitory. The gauge is installed in the cabin as shown below. Installed so it's visible in the cabin (shown is fwd/stbd side of cabin) Schematic of installation.
