Allis - Autopilot I installed an AUTOHELM ST1000 Tillerpilot on the starboard sidewall. The importance is to comply with the installation instructions from AUTOHELM. To attach the pilot to the sidewall the Autohelm Cantilever Bracket D31 is used. The pilot is linked via the SeaTalk bus with the ST50 Wind, the ST50 Speed and the ST50 SeaTalk to NMEA Converter Z290. The Converter is used for interface with a Garmin 45 GPS. If the Autohelm ST1000Plus is used the Converter is not required. This tip submitted by glogner@laudaair.com
