Allis - Winches and Instruments The original Winches on the C-250 are very small. I removed them and installed LEWMAR Self-Tailing 16 C ST. The Factory delivers 1997 already with the 16 C ST installed. On the Pictures You can see the installation of the Mini Contest Compass and the AUTOHELM ST50 Instruments SPEED and WIND. Hint: The Autohelm instruments do not require through holes the Compass does!!!! The wiring is routed under the floor (Speed transducer) and under the trim of the inner lining (Wind transducer). Power for the Compass light is taken from the Position Light Circuit. Power for the Autohelm equipment is provided from a spare switch of the main power panel. A Watertight Cable Outlet is used to feed the cable for the masthead transducer through the deck. The same procedure was used for the speed transducer installation as on the MIRCLE MAX.
