Has anyone done anything creative to the stock ladder, or maybe installed something different?

I would like to install something wider that is easier on the feet, but there is hardly any room.

Any thoughts?

West Marine sells ladder steps ($12.99 each) that should make it easier on the feet.



I made full length steps for my ladder out of teak because I, too, found the ladder was hard on the feet.

Catalina Direct sells steps similar to the pic posted by Don, but they're white and are centered on the rungs. They are much nicer on the feet. The only tricky part with installing them was using an angle drill on the tubing. The steps are held in place with stainless steel pop rivets.
