Check out West Marine. They will have replacement bulbs for just about any kind of light, including the orignal masthead and anchor lights. If that doesn't cut it, try BoatUS. The third option would be an autosupply shop.
Has anyone tried one of the multiple LED anchor lights? They are the mearest fraction of the power usage and will not burn out, something like 50,000 hour rating, and if one faied there would still be 23 or so left. http://autolumination.com/images/auto_bulbs/1156_pt_w.jpg
Running and anchor lights on Catallina's are/were made by Aqua Signal. If you have a problem finding the correct bulb, check their web sight. They sent me a catalogue of all the products they make and told me where to get the bulbs I needed.
Maybe in 89 Al, but I don't think my originals were Aquasignal back in 78. If they are aquasignal, Westmarine and Boat US both carry that brand and Anchor brand replacements.
I have an LED anchor light. You can easily find my boat in a crowded anchorage as it is very bright, and it is a blue/white light, as opposed to the orange/white light of a standard incandescent. It draws .2 or .3 amps, I forget which. Better than the .8 amps of a standard 10 watt anchor light. If I remember correctly it is a Perko, and is Coast Guard approved for 2 miles.

I wanted that if I ever get run over at night by a lawyer.
I've been using the light that Davis Inst. is selling. It seem to work well and have low draw and is cheap relative to the others I have seen. Last advantage is that its set up for cig. outlet and can be tied into the rig at any location. Dave
My problem with the Davis light is that it's not Coast Guard approved. When I talked to the Davis people about that they wouldn't even discuss the issue. Maybe I'm just paranoid about having a lawyer with a big Sea Ray running into me when I'm at anchor and not having an approved anchor light.
