Hi, I am thinking about changing from tiller to wheel on my 2003 250. Can anyone give me instructions or comments on this idea? Thanks. Steve

Steve, you might try the 250 specific forum. Seems like the C250 guys kinda like to hang out more down there... even when they are posting on 'general' topics.

Steve,

Edson offers a small boat wheel steering kit. Another way to go is to buy a salvaged pedestal and go open wire cables for the hookup. An open wire cable system is superior to the Edson hook up cables for small boats. I offer a kit for the open wire hookup. A rudder receiver and control arm and boot would be needed from Edson.
