The official 2005 National Association ballot is now on-line in this issue of the TellTale and is ready for your votes. Go to the Members Only area and then to the TellTale. Voting ends on September 25.
Will the TellTale be e-mailed to the entire membership? Looking at the members list it seems only 75-100 registered forum users (not necessarily association members) will see the thread to vote. The rest of the 600+ members need to be e-mailed so we get as many members involved in the elections as possible.
I thought the sentence was life without possibility of parole.
John, not speaking for Jim, but I think it has been. I received an e-mail last week with pdf attachments which I assumed was sent to the membership. Of course we need to wait for Jim to reply to be sure.
You and all the rest along the north east coast will be in our prayers this weekend, as Ophelia wonders NE.

Thanks Don. It was in my "BULK" mailbox and I rarely look in there.
It appears that Hamlet’s crazy little sister has wondered out into the Atlantic and we will only see high tides and the coast will get high surf. She came closest to the Cape and now has a bead on Nova Scotia but she is diminishing to just a storm.
I don't know if it only applies to me, but your "Vote" email and attachments, total size 9.4 megs, did a nice job of filling my inbox to overflowing. My provider limits my email to 10 Meg, so I suppose that if I had emptied my inbox, outbox, and deleted folders, it might have fit, but it didn't . I was able to get the basic message and some of the attachments, but the server times out before completing. Most of the attachments appeared to be relativly small except the Capri 25 which was in excess of 4 megs. I went thru webmail to delete your email so I could start processing email again. Just sharing, only a minor inconvenience.
I want to apologize for sending the email ballot with all the attachments. We, your officers, voted to do it this way. Don created the PDFs and I mass emailed them out from work (big bandwidth). I didn't check the size since PDFs are usually compact. I had a great deal of trouble receiving my own copy at home (I had the server delete it). Of the 600 members I emailed to, at least 150 had servers reject the email.
But look at it this way, about 400 people DID get the information.
Since you can't open the ballot on line, just email your votes to Bill Holcomb, or take care of it on the website "Members only" area.
Very interesting, I wonder why I did not receive the EM period when I have received others. Please check and see if my EM address got deleted or what!!!! Thanks
It's likely the emails were stopped by certain service providers due to the size of the attachments, or that the email ended up in a bulk or spam folder.
