Char and I are in Minneapolis for a training class, we have formed a LLC to sell cruises, and as we were enroute to our hotel discovered that WYC was near by. So, I called the Capri 25 Fleet Captain, Bruce Tam and arranged to have dinner with him tonight. He seemed interested in our by-law revision that would open regular membership to Capri 25 owners. Part of my motivation was to start the process to bring these guys into a home (assuming the new by-laws pass).

Thanks for the opportunity to serve as your Commodore.

There are now 63 members in the Yahoo Capri 25 group. Some of these are also members of the WYC. Most are not.

Frank,

I do know Chris posted a message encouraging everyone in the group to do so. How many did or didn't, I wouldn't know. Chris (Capri 25) maight have a better idea.

I myself am on this site every day. WYC members you have to realize are always together at their clubhouse or on the docks. They awnser questions with the Capri 25 there. I created the Yahoo site to bring together all of the other owners of Capri 25's all over the Nation. It's the same as this site. You all post on the fourm because you all are all over the US. Thats why WYC does not use this site, and for that matter doesn't even use their own fourm on their website. All you have to do is go to the Capri 25 website and join, for that matter I will open up the group to the public so you all can take a look around. I asked the members to join because I don't want someone spamming us with adds.

The 25/250 site has done a great job with opening up their membership to the Capri 25's. The fact is that we are a Catalina Yachts boat and we are a 25 footer. We are the racing line of Catalina -- The Capri's. I will go and make the changes to the membership so you all can come and take a look. All I ask is that you make a post of where you are from and what you sail, and add the link to this site. Tell the members a little about yourself if you want, its your call. I want my members to know that you are there and are looking around, every file that is posted is also on www.capri25.com.

One more thing, I am on the mail server for WYC, I will email them about this site, and the Bi-laws. Every member will recive the message. This is the best that I can do. I have not recived a email from Bruce Tam about you all comming to WYC, Or any udates about the merger.
