Just wondering if there should be a forum section made specifically for fleets to post their news and discuss things like when we should next race or cruise to the cove together or why Mike doesn't sail on the weekends . I've started San Diego fleet conversations in the C25 forum but some of us sail C250s. I've started them in the General forum but that doesn't quite make sense either. I've also noted that I don't see many fleet postings on our website so was obviously wondering if there is a general agreement, which I've missed noting (at 55 lots of things get by me lately ), that these types of postings ought to be relegated to emails instead. What do the other fleets think and would others want to even see what is happening in all the fleets. I know we can email each other but it might be of interest to others to know what is going on around the country. Just a thought.....(E=mc squared was also an idea that made sense)

I am uncomfortable with too many forums. We are already about to add one for the Capri 25 owners. I often do not read Fleet 7 posts. It is nice that they are titled in a way that lets others skip them if they like. Since all fleets are to be made up of all three types of boats if at all possible it seems to me that the general forum is the place for fleet posts. My two cents
just post them in the general forum. This site does not get many new posts anyways, and even less as fall/winter comes and we are the only ones sailing (plus our friends in Florida).
By the way, are we 100% confirmed for this Saturday night raft up in La Playa Cove? I don't want to come down and go alone.
Jim, our friends won't be able to sail with us this weekend. Weather looks good, too! Haven't heard back from the Cavins, Mike, or any others. I answered the other posting re:anchoring permits. That sounds like a good plan, too. And so does La Playa. Susie says a restaurant at Coronado is great as she won't have to worry about any cooking details. We would come down to San Diego by noon or 1pm and sail south as we did last Sunday. Sail back Sunday morning so we can get home early and do teacher weekend work stuff before the evening....yuk!!
