Why is the forum now asking me to use active X? It never did that before. I have them turned offfor good reason. When I answer no, I get the page cannot be displayed message.
Have we been hacked?

Wondering if your PC might have been wacked.

I have my Active-X set to 'prompt' and I'm not getting prompted or having any page display issues. (at 15:38 PDT)

Standard Questions:

What OS/Browser versions are you running?
Got things Fully Patched?
Running any AV/Anti-Malware software?

Mine is also set to prompt, that's how I know the forum was trying to activate Active X. It isn't now by the way.
On this drive, Win XP, SP 2, IE 6, SP2, both fully patched. Want the builds?
Besides a hardware firewall, I have 7 other software programs for AV, Spyware, Malware, Firewall. I'll list them if you like.

Rick, are you still getting that error? When did it actually occur, when you first brought up the forum, or after you had clicked around?

I got it once yesterday, it has only occured when I click on the the froum link from this web page:
http://www.catalina25-250.org/index2.html
I click no to the dialog box and then I get the "page cannot be displayed"
Usually if I just try again, no problem.
