Making plans for the Bimini trip in March and need a dinghy motor mount. Was contemplating using a 4" wide 8" long 1.5" thick square block of teak. I plan to secure the teak block to the port wing seat using a couple small SS u-bolts. Anyone done anything like this? I'm always open to the great ideas you guys and gals have.
Hey there, I attached a picture of Alan Therriens dinghy motor mount which he fashioned out of Oak. He and I spoke about this some time back in 04. (Glad I saved the photo) At the time neither of us could find a manufactured model that would work on the 250, still can't, so homemade is the way to go. Hope this helps, good luck!
