Can anyone tell me if 4'-6" w/ no waves is enough depth to pick up work buddies at a dock? I have a 1985 Catalina 25 with a fixed keel.Is it cutting it to close?

What kind of bottom? I would go for it unless its rock down there. Worst case is everyone hangs on a shroud to heel it over while you motor away.

She draws 4' plus maybe another inch or two depending on the load.
