1997 Catalina 250 tall rig, wing keel with wheel steering. New 110 jib (2004), fully battened main with two (2) reef points. Shore power with two (2) new batteries (2005). New fishfinder depth meter (2005). VHF radio. Mount for Garmin GPS in cockpit. New AM/FM/CD radio (2004). Pressure water with upgraded faucets in galley & head. 15 gallon water tank. Port-o-potty (2002). Full canvas package (sail cover, binnacle/wheel cover, hatch cover). Seat cushion for fuel locker helm seat. 7.5 HP Honda 4-stroke outboard. 6 gallon plastic fuel tank.

Yes. Leading contenders now are the C28, C30, C320 (if we can find a bargain), & maybe a Pearson or S2. We're debating the less money versus more boat with ourselves right now & already have the next couple weekends devoted to looking at out of area boats.

It's hard to sell a boat after 6+ years especially when its our first "real" boat that we named. We've had a lot of good times. She's been loved & well taken care of so if you know anyone who needs a good boat please spread the word.

Of course we are all slightly biased, but when I moved up, after years of great luck with the C25, I elected to stick with Catalina. It was a good decision, can't go wrong with another Catalina.

It looks like we'll be leaving the Catalina family. Just put a contract on a 1988 Pearson 31 that's been well cared for by its current ownwer since 1996. If the survey goes well that will be our next boat. (If I win the lottery then I'll buy a C320.)
