Hi all Iam looking to step up to a 30 footer. I looked at an O'day 302 which looked Ok to my un-trained eyes. I wanted to stay in the catalina family but the O'day has a much roomier cabin and storage area at a great price. Could any one recommend a surveyor? The boat is in Chesapeake City,Maryland. Thanks
Dan read some review & heard O'Days had some problem with poor keel attachment. Did he get it wrong? There are some nice looking O'Days at good prices. Let me know how it turns out.
Take a look at our links page. you should see a link for Davis and Co Marine Surveyors...They are well worth the money and are a national co.

I got many surveyors from the web sites provided, I just have to select one from the many. Fhopper, it is a wing keel and it is grey. I think all the 302's have the same spec. Thanks everyone for the information. I will keep you updated.
I wanted to use Jack Horner for the Pearson 31 we're buying, but he's got a 2+ week wait for a survey & we needed have a report by 11/13 so we just couldn't wait.
