Actually only part of the store is under new ownership, we are still keeping the burgees and decals.

As Jim told everyone after the last officers meeting, the ships store was not profitable for us based on our current structure. We had downsized to carry only the burgees and the decals and removed all other items. After the last meeting the officers were faced with a number of options, of which we chose to outsource the ships store. The association has paid for the digitization of the 3 diamond/triangle logos that represent each boat type and have turned over all embroidery to Company Casuals – AKA Embroidery Authority.

Embroidery Authority worked pretty hard to assemble a ships store online and put things together in less than 2 weeks. They will be able to do single orders for us and have reduced some of their quantity pricing for those who might want to buy gear for the entire crew. The selection online is also very extensive.

So without further adieu, just in time for the holidays, the Embroidered section of the ships store…
