I have taken up your collective recommednationa dn picked up a copy of "This Old Boat". While I wish there were more pix it was well worth the price of admission. Any other recommendations for "How To" books? Thanks for the suggestion in any event. So much to do over the winter...
I like that one. Also, I peruse Boatworks, Sail, Crusing World, Wooden Boat, all for ideas and tips. I have a copy of a book called Run-about Restoration that I bought when I was going to bring my 1980 17' Glastron I/O back to life, but I just did not have the energy. However, that book had a lot of good info on fiberglass work, as well as some wood.
try Good Old Boat magazine. lots of great how to articles and many cruising pieces by the likes of Dave Martin and the Pardees. Have a look at www.goodoldboat.com
