Is it possible to raise a C250 WB up off its trailer with boat stands? Then remove the trailer from underneath the boat with boat stands in place. Not sure about clearances etc. "THANX" for any info pro or con.
I haven't done it, but I think it could be done if you're clever. Years ago I jacked up a C22 on its trailer, built a temporary wooden cradle under it, and lowered the trailer to the ground. Then I painted under the trailer bunks. When the job was done, I jacked up the trailer under the boat, dismantled the wooden cradle, and lowered the boat and trailer to the ground.
You'd have to design the cradle so that, as you slowly pull the trailer out from under the boat, you could relocate individual supports so that they clear the structural members of the trailer.
