Who wants to go first?

From SailNet's Homepage...

<i>SailNet is coming about! There is a new Crew at the helm with renewed energy and plans to re-launch the SailNet Community within the next couple of weeks.

Recognized four years in a row by Forbes Magazine as Best of the Web for content, resources and community - SailNet's new Crew plans to continue this recognition.

What you should expect. SailNet continues to be a free resource where articles, forums and email lists allow sailors to come together to support each other with tips, reviews, specific boating details and to share stories. There are no subscription fees.

The New SailNet Store is now open for business!

You're invited to join the on-line re-launch party which will include a chance to meet the new owners, peruse the improved and expanded store and win valuable prizes. Keep checking back over the next week for updates regarding the launch date.

Send us your comments. We are interested in learning what you think about SailNet and how you think we can make it even better. Contact Us.

I hope the "new" SailNet has better luck. I liked the articles, especially John Kretschmer's pieces. Some of the gear I upgraded my boat with came from the SailNet store - the tiller pilot, self-tailing winches, and ground tackle (18# Danforth anchors) - and their prices were better than anything I could get around here. I would have purchased my GPS from them, but I specifically wanted a Garmin 168, and SailNet didn't carry that model (or any other of the Garmin GPS/Sounder combo models).
