I've needed to replace the opening portlights on my boat for a long time. Even though I rebuilt them a few years ago they continue to leak like a sieve but the price of replacements has held me back from buying new ones. I was looking up information on the window that Catalina Direct recommended at the Lewmarusa.com site and happened upon their clearence page. There I found the exact model that I was looking for but at fraction of the price. Because they were such a good deal I went ahead and made the purchase even though they don't have a regular internet purchasing procedure. In this case I talked to a salesmen via email and then called to make the order. Sorry that I can't vouch yet for the quality of the transaction but thought some of you who are replacing windows would be interested anyway. By the way, the 7RE standard portlight is the one that should fit my 79. However, I know that Catalina used a lot of different sized ports so you'll need to check the measurements on your own boat.
