Does anyone know where I can buy a handle arm for a 1980 Honda 4 stroke outboard? The local honda dealer tells me they are not available to order. I am hoping someone out there might have some old parts laying around.

Surely your local Honda dealer is mistaken. I used to work for a Honda dealer (several actually), and Honda, the mother corp., is very good about making parts for their older products available to their dealers. However, not all Honda dealers choose to take fullest advantage of this feature of their franchise. So I suggest you try another dealer. If your motor is old enough to be compatible with the B-75/B-100 series, I may have the part you're looking for in stock, used. If not, or if you'd rather have a new part, lots of Honda dealers with mail order/ship parts to customers outside their franchise radius.
