I sent in my membership application and dough about 2 weeks or longer ago. I have not received any info as of yet as to a password, etc for accessing the member's only area. I am wondering if my application was received. I sent it to the address that was on the current application form. Maybe the info is in the mail and I will be receiving it soon ? Any info would be appreciated.
Hi Larry, The memberships of all of the Catalina Associations are handled by a service that receives the mail sent to the Post Office Box on the membership form. As important as we would like to believe we are, the reality is that the service really needs to handle the applications in batches so that we can afford it. Your membership will be processed soon and your welcome letter with the secret handshake will follow. I hope you are enjoying the forum and I thank you for your membership.
I've tried getting to the members page using the same username and password that I use on the forum for several months with no luck.My email is on the registration witch sould allow me to retrieve a lost password but the login page has nothing.I've e-mailed spike@strarrstuff,no reply.Any ideas?

The ID and password you use here is only for the forum. Association members who have paid their dues and received the association’s designated ID and password will have access to the Members area in the main part of the association web site.
I should have mentioned that I am a paid member.I found out from the other post on this subject that I should be using the password and username given in the welcome letter which I've lost.Now the problem seems to be how to get this info-not possible from the login page.Any suggestions? Any idea what the average time is to receive the Welcome Ltr w/password ? It must be at least 3 weeks since I sent in the registration form and check. If it does not come in another week...then perhaps it was never received ? Seems like a long time to be waiting some kind of confirmation.
Happy to report that my big day came. Received my letter today - password works. I think it took about 3 - 3 1/2 weeks from sending in the check to receiving the letter. Larry
