Greetings! My wife is enjoying sailing with me, and she'd like to look into some sailing classes. We've read that there are classes specifically for women, and we were wondering if anyone knew of any in Florida. Thanks in advance for any info!

Paul,

You might want to check with Sherry Beckett at Melbourne Yacht Club or via her Website.

I'm fairly certain MYC offers at least beginner classes in small boats, maybe for free. If that's too remedial or not available, I suggest your wife (and you!) consider serving as race crew. I know there's at least one (very competitive) all female boat racing out of there. If you want to do that, and have trouble getting a ride, contact me off list.
