This question's a little off sailing, but it will help us computer challenged Apple users make better use of the forum.
I set up a shutterfly account this weekend and played with taking photos off the web and putting them in my account. Also uploading photos to the account. My problem was that I could not find or get the web address of only the photo so that I could copy and paste it. We have OS X if that makes any difference. Do I need to use something other than shutterfly? What am I missing here?

Thanks for teaching us, both sailing and computers!

Control + click on the image in your browser window will bring up a menu. Select "copy link". Then paste the URL for the image where you need it.

Kip,
Nice looking boat. I notice it is one of the rare diesels.
Don't take this wrong, but I would like to raise a couple of safety issues.
First, is that trailer rated to carry the actual weight of the loaded boat? With the diesel, probably at least 5500 lbs. Looks lightly constructed in the photo.
Second, guessing about the fore-aft balance point, again considering the diesel inbord, I would be concerned about lack of recommended tounge weight given the position of the boat over the axles.
Don't know what your experience is. Just want you to be safe.
Only my humble opinion.
Happy New Year,
Regards,

Thanks for the compliments!

The Trailmaster trailer is original to the boat, and it trails nicely and doesn't porpoise. I seem to remember seeing 10,000 lbs stamped on the tongue, but based on the tires, its rated for about 7500 lbs. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the nose of the keel rests a little in front of the center of the axles. I tow it about 60 miles one way with a 1/2 truck, capacity of 8800 lbs., twice a year. The previous owner towed it to Lake Erie with a conversion van with no problems. If I were to trailer longer distances, I'd want a heavier truck. It tows so well, I never questioned the balance.

I'm not so sure about the inboard being significantly heavier. The engine weighs 200 lbs, plus misc adds another 100 lbs, then subtract the weight of the fiberglass in the aft berth. My guesstimate would be 150 lbs more, compared to a newer four stroke and bracket mounted on back.
I appreciate your concern.

dblitz, did you call Catalina to find out if you have a std or tall rig? They could tell you what your keel is made of as well.
