We finally feel we have our new boat somewhat under control. I posted back in Novemebr to mention we purchased a new to us boat. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and requests for photos.
The boat is a 2000 Beneteau 311 swing keel. She is fantastic but there has been a lot to do and learn. Our dock needed upgrading, transport the boat from St. Augustine to Panama City, clean and polish from the road trip, bottom job, redo the head/holding tank, and try to understand complicated elctrical, electronic and engine systems.
We finally have "Alors" in her slip, rigged, clean and somewhat ready to sail. So... here are some pictures.
Thanks for this forum and I will certainly keep involved. (by the way we still have a beautiful Catalina 25 for sale in the swap meet)

Good looking boat! Can you tell us a little more about the swing keel? How it affects a boat of that size. Can it be raised and lowered easily? What affect does it have on the boat's sailing ability?
