Just wanted to make sure that you have seen the 25 on Ebay. It says it is a swing keel 25, but it sure looks like a wing. It would be a deal for someone wanting to do a lot of cleanup and work. The boat was submurged, but look like a cool project!

That must be one of the first wings or a retrofit. It would be nice to see the Hull#

Time to break out the pressure washer.

If the boat on eBay were a swing-to-wing conversion keel, I wonder if it could be salvaged for use on another swinger?...Hmmmm!

Judging from the pictures, I'm going to guess the boat's newer than '85 and is not a conversion. They don't always have the right year on the salvage auctions. In one pic you can see the flush smoked windows, the self tailing winches, and the halyard winches on the cabin top.

How about Barry buying it for parts for his boat? The keel should fit his mishap?

Mobile is closer than NY for him?

It says in the narrative that it's a wing.

The keel will not fit. It is a regular bolt on deal. It "should" work on a fin though. The boat is likely just dirty and could be made right if you cleaned it properly. I guess it depends how long it was on the bottom.

A donor boat with the missing pieces would make it economical.

The wing conversion, has a plug that fits in the swing area.

Looks to me like an original Wing, not a swing to wing conversion. There is no trunk for a swing keel.
