Just wanted to make sure that you have seen the 25 on Ebay. It says it is a swing keel 25, but it sure looks like a wing. It would be a deal for someone wanting to do a lot of cleanup and work. The boat was submurged, but look like a cool project! Ebay item #4606431469 Fair Winds to All Bruce Ebling 1982 Cape Dory 25D "Selah"
Judging from the pictures, I'm going to guess the boat's newer than '85 and is not a conversion. They don't always have the right year on the salvage auctions. In one pic you can see the flush smoked windows, the self tailing winches, and the halyard winches on the cabin top.
The keel will not fit. It is a regular bolt on deal. It "should" work on a fin though. The boat is likely just dirty and could be made right if you cleaned it properly. I guess it depends how long it was on the bottom.
A donor boat with the missing pieces would make it economical.
The wing conversion, has a plug that fits in the swing area.
