Does any one with a C250 WB early models have any idea where the bottom of the cavity forward of the anchor locker and inside the vertical inspection port ends up? Yesterday while splashing "Brandy" in upstate N.Y. the gentleman helping inadvertantly poured Clorex in that area instead of the vent hole for the water ballast. I removed all the inside bottom panels under the berthing etc and could not find any sign of the Clorox. Also, I could not go forward yesterday to look myself in that cavity because of 30 mph winds at the dock. Any one with knowlege of that area and maybe with some info as what to do is appreciated in advance.
The cavity leads down to the V berth locker. There are troughs on each side that will channel fluid back towards the settee lockers and utlimately towards the bilge.
If there were clothing, life jackets etc. in the V berth locker or settee lockers...then they may have been exposed slightly to the clorox...but unless he poured a lot... then likely there would not be direct contact because of the troughs.
Arlyn, Thanks for the info,I had that boat tore apart Saturday evening looking for the fluid laying somewhere, I believe I will empty the lockers and pour some water into the cavity and try and mix and force what is left into the bilge and pump it out. Arlyn, your expertise and responses are appreciated by us "Newbies" and others, thanx again.
