This years BEER (Backwater Environmental Escape Rendezvous) Cruise is going to be June 2-6 in the Pensacola area. This will be my third year going. Last year TomG and I were the only Catalina 25's among 58 other boats. Its a open event, they welcome everyone.

I'm not affiliated of this group, just a participant. Just thought I would share the info with you)

Ummmmm. I would like to go.........BUT. The NAVY is sucking the very life out of my body! I will try to work the schedule. I will need 2 weeks to pickup the family and boat and get to Washington. If I can work any more time into the equation, I will be there.

There are many fine memories from last year. Including the guy who "forgot" his main was still up after he beached his boat. And...the horror of pulling the last Corona out of the cooler!

Tom.

I am heading West on May 19. 3125 mile later, I will be in the Whidbey Island Wa. It was a bitter pill this year, missing Bimini(weather was perfect for proposed days), Mug Race, Fleet25 cruise, And BEER 06.

Have fun this Summer. I get to spend a Grand in Gas!!!!!

Tom, I hope your trip across dry land is a good one. If you need some 55 gallon drums for extra gas storage let me know. I expect you could get 4 drums in the back of your suburban... 220 extra gallons should get you to Alabama without stopping.
