On my C250WK, the rudder bracket (stainless) that goes over the top of the rudder is enough larger than the top of the rudder that the tiller rattles back and forth. What solutions have any of you used for this problem, or is it unique to me and I should get Catalina to solve it? Left to my own devices, I would get some rubber material and make the equivalent of washers for each side, to eliminate the play.
Please let me know, oh wise ones. ;-)

I solved the problem by putting 2 small strips of fluffyy-side sticky Velcro over the top of the rudder; just tight enough for the rudder bracket to slide over it and eliminate the shimmy/rattle. It comes in either black or white at Rite-Aid or Save-On.
Although I have a C25, I use nylon washers (available in various sizes at any hardware store) to take out the small amount of slop at my tiller-rudder connection.
