Finally bought my 250, finished the deal today and I'm happy with the boat. Unfortunately the water in the lake is too low to take the boat down the ramp so I'm on the hard for a while. Time to get a few projects done.
I've learned alot about the boat from this forum and look forward to getting alot of info and tips here. Time to join the Association.
Steve: Lake should be headed up next week according to the Corp's rule curve- although slowly. I learned a lot launching our wk at 632 elevation. Think its more a function of ramp angle than lake elevation where we are. Now we are rigging to do the rope launch from now on. Be careful on the inboard side of the dock-- the lake side is best for wk's due to inconsistant and low levels.
Can't wait to see you on the water- races coming up in April! Anxious to meet you. Joe
Great news Joe, I'm anxious to get it in the water, meet you and the other 250 owners, I think I've seen 3 at the dock. I'm sure I'll have a few questions about raising the mast doing the rope launch.
