The good first... Catalina Direct has added a section for 250's
The bad... there's nothing in it yet

The online store is pretty weak. I need a pop top but can't find one listed there.

Steve,
You can check with the Catalina part's department. I've contacted them in the past and they were very helpful.

I cannot agree with you. They have invested a lot of time and money over the last few months to put a genuine online store up. I find everything with the search engine and it is all there. Granted like any new enterprise it will get better and I think as time goes by your 250 section will blossom but in the mean time it is better than anywhere else for a Catalina owner wanting boat specific items.

They have come through for me on some hard to find items. Some of the parts they sell now for C25's will work on the 250, but a 250 section is good news for us 250 owners. I can't wait until they start stocking items.

CD is tops in my book. I have ordered several parts from them. I have had a few issues and they have come out on top in my book.

1. Ordered tiller. 2 weeks and no tiller? I did the online tracking and found the tiller to be on the truck for delivery for 10days! I checked with UPS and no tiller. They wanted me to file an insurance claim! I called CD and THEY filed the claim and I had a new tiller in 3 days.

2. Ordered new bushings for gudgeons. They were out of stock. I got a call 2 weeks later to info me there would be another 2 week delay. Then they called to info me when they shipped. I bring this up because they paid an employee to call me and update me on my $2 part I ordered. To me, this level of service is gone in America. I sometimes pay an extra dollar or 2 to keep MY parts on a shelf somewhere. You will not find another boat that has this kind of support unless you sail a Macgregor!

Tom.

From all the accounts read on the forum, the company gets and A+ and their customer service ranks there too.

Pictures say a thousand words, so when the pic is missing and there's no text then a visitor is not sure what they are getting.
