I would tend to wonder about warpping/flexing since it's glorified polyethelyne. Also aren't most hung on rudders nearly neutral in bouyancy? Starboard is rather dense. Just my $0.02 worth
Interesting Frank, I wonder if that is an IDA rudder? The proof of serviceability lies in honest apraisals of those running them... will keep eyes and ears open.
With all the discussion about IDA rudders, that is the first I have heard that they are made of starboard! I wonder if it is only the kick-up from IDA?
