<font face='Comic Sans MS'><font size=2> Better late than never! The May Mainsheet is slowly making it’s way to the membership. I have a lot of people to thank for this quarter’s issue. Steve Milby who’s article merited feature status (see page 21) after I asked him to rewrite it 3 times. Val for his famous catch phrase “On the hard DAGNABIT”. The fleet Captains who are keeping their fleets alive, Mark for his race and web notes, Douglas for the Odyssey info (he will follow up with a report from the trip for the Aug. issue) and oh yes the guy with the scrambled eggs on his hat for the opening comments that would Ed Jakubas our Commodore. To those who submitted articles that didn’t make it in this issue, I thank you and will do my best to include everyone as time goes on. The Mainsheet can only be a good representation of our Association with your input. Lets hear from your group or local fleet and any interesting sails and races you’ve participated in. We have one of the best and most popular boats in the Catalina family and the Mainsheet is a place we can show how much enjoyment the boats give us. The next deadline for the August Mainsheet is June 1st. So PLEASE submit an article soon. It can be rough notes or just a memo with information on an event or a full-blown article with pictures. I’m sure you and your friend’s will like seeing photos of yourselves and your boats in print. Send the articles via e-mail that you can find under my profile or my mailing address is on the officers/staff page of the National Associations web site. Thank you John Gisondi Mainsheet Contributing Editor Catalina 25/250 National Association
