I just got these back today and put them on my c-25 Hopper these are the cushions that I was talking about. They are made of Sunbrella but it seems to be a much more soft sunbrella than most. They are SUPER soft and I had the bottoms done in a darker vinyl. My upholstery guy actually took some of the vinyl and did the piping around the edges without telling me. I think I like it, kind of sets the whole thing off. Let me know what you think. I took the photos this afternoon and the sun was extremely bright. Knd of makes the cushions look OFF WHITE, the are actually a tan tweed type of sunbrella. I think I might go back in the evening to re-take them so the color shows up better.
takokichi,'it's never fallen, I don;t know I've never thought about it. Actually, it's kind of hard to get out of there from time to time. Seems pretty stable.
I didn't know it WAS upside down. This is how it was when I bought her. There is only one latch though. The metal pieces at the top are what slides into the grooves in the bulkhead for mounting. Should I flip it over and remount the hardware. Like I said it seems stable to me but I would hate for someone to get hurt. I am happy that a posting on my new cushions turned into a discussion on the orientation of my table
Good looking cushions--actually, yours might have the same fabric as mine--a soft, linen-like finish. Ain't it amazing what that does for the boat after the plaid Herculon??
without a doubt Dave. I couldn't believe it. Not only does the boat look completely different (much brighter now) but having all new foam has been awesome as well. On the old foam when you sat on it, you could feel the hard surface underneath, now my big a** is much more comfortable. Also, there used to always be a certain must in the air with the old cushions, the boat now always smells clean. I am glad I did it now I have to sell her. Yeas, the way you described the material you used sounds exactly like mine, I also used a vinyl on the bottoms and the piping that is just a little darker. Pura Vida, Zach

I have family in Noank, CT, right down on the water. I love it up there.
Zach: I can't find a pic that shows the material very well... It's probably the same, minus the darker piping (which looks great). My vinyl bottoms are white.
I recently moved to the east side of the Mystic River just above the I-95 bridge (see the cross-hairs), with a slip for my little power boat outside. Passage can't get up here--her mast is too tall and the water is a little thin at low tide. She's in a marina across from Noank. With Fisher's Island, Block Island, Shelter Island, Napa Tree Point, the Connecticut River, and various other great spots an easy day's sail from here, and ocean breezes even in July and August, it's hard to beat! The jury is out on whether I have the right boat now...
