The whale pump faucet on my 1983 C-25 is leaking. I have seen a "repair kit" but am not sure what it includes. Could someone tell me what I should look for in the way of repairing this leak? has anyone else repaired a leaky faucet?
This may not be the way to go, but I disassembled my pumps (circa '85/'86), cleaned everything well, applied a thin coat of Vaseline to the diaphram and all tangent surfaces, and replaced the spout corks. Haven't had any leaks or pressure drops since it was done.
