by which they both have helped many a member from a newbie to a Commodore...and defamed a few in the process. and
Whereas Frank and Don are both valuable members of this association (even though don needs to run for office this fall) and
whereas the rest of us have wives that would divorce us if we posted this much
I hereby declare, by the authority not really vested or invested (just in case Arlin is proofreading I have one guranteed error probably more) from anywhere to be the Frank Hopper and Don Lucier Millisecond, bestowing all that that entails, might entail, tax title fees and destination charge extra.
May we all sell these buckets of caulk and fiberglass before we get that far, saving valuable time and brain cells for sailing.

I think a good portion of my posts would definitely fall into the "one liners and useless" categories. (Is that nodding I sense from the collective? )
My embarrassingly, prolific post count can certainly be attributable to my passion for sailing, but the count also gets a boost from my 6 months on the hard, the fact that I'm not much of a sleeper, I'm connected to the internet morning, noon, and night, and a host of other nonsensical reasons.
I believe the key to the success of the forum, and the association, is participation, and I'm just trying to do my part. One thing is certain though, I get much, much more <b><i>out </i></b>of the forum than I put in, and for that I'm grateful.

For me at least, Master Marine Consultant is a bit of a stretch...I don't know if I can even be classified as an "expert novice"!
the new title should be something with Pooh-Bah in it. Grand Pooh-Bah, Commander Pooh-Bah. Or maybe Officer of the Realm, or a knight-hood, Great High MuckyMuck. You know, something classy.
