I've priced Sailwarehouse and CD. Price seems to be competetive. Any insight on the pros and cons of each. Barry

CD as in Catalina Direct or Cruising Direct?

As for the Ullman sails offered by Catalina Direct, I don't have direct experience with them, but a lot of forum posters have given favorable reviews for the Ullman sails in regards to quality, customer service, and price.

Not sure if you can get the Ullman sails cheaper if you go deal directly with the loft???

Thanks, I forgot about Cruising Direct. I checked it out and their prices are the lowest. Barry

Just make sure you're comparing apples and apples. Cheapest isn't always best. Sometimes it's just . . . cheapest. I learned that when I bought a main at a great price and it came without a headboard.

From what i've read, Ullman makes the CD sails. I've called Ullman directly and worked with Gary Swenson as per the recommendations of some folks here on the forum. I have bought 3 sails from him and he has always done a great job. Great Prices, Great Service, Great Sails! I highly recommend. He's extremly familar with the sails for both types of Catalina 25. I give him an A+. His number is 805-644-9579

I'm very fond of my UK sails. Had them made 4 seasons ago, and they still look and perform great. Of course they aren't the cheapest out there, but I feel that I got my money's worth.

Chip,

You may be the first person I've come across on the forum who has UK sails...I have a UK main and, I too, am very pleased.

There are a number of lofts sponsoring our nationals that could provide you with quotes. I usually go to the same loft, but get a bunch of quotes just to see what is new out there. Most have free online quote systems too.

Be sure to check out other sponsors that you haven't already.
