Scored a tough-down on Saturday by successfully launching Adventurous. Had no major problems, only minor ones; couldn't find the windex after the winter haitus, so had to buy a new one... can't find the battens, so will likely buy new ones...

All in all, I was very satisfied with Saturday's efforts. We were the fourth boat in; April 1 was the first day allowed to slip boats. Now we just have to finish some house-keeping on the boat and we're ready to go!!! I hope to overnight on the boat this weekend.

I hope everyone else has a successful launch!

Our launch is 4/22 so I have only a few free days to apply the VC-17 and a few other essential dry land improvements.

Cover is still on though. Ski season just ended yesterday, with skiing in shirtsleeves. 75 degrees last Friday was great too.

Most work will need to be done on the water such as halyards, leaky windows, stereo install and woodwork.

Hi Don,

I'm slipped at the Alum Creek Reservoir. Our club has a website with pictures if anyone is interested.
