Hi everyone. I havent been here for awhile. I hope all is weel with everybody. I am ordering new curtains and I'm wondering, for the two windows on each side in the main salon, do people have on long track covering both windows, and one set of curtains that cover two windows? Or is it one set per window (or port) or is it a matter of personal choice? What do you guys think? I hope I made myself clear. Thanks.

We have a long rod on top and below the portlights, 2 curtains per port. I do not know if the curvature of the interior of the salon differs much on a Capri from yours.
We are making ours. I bought eight foot fiberglass rod we use here in Michigan to make where we want the snow plows to stay away from. Those are my rods...full lenght across both portlight, with one curtain a piece that can bunch in the middle or end. Cheers.
The new set we just installed on Fantasy II consisted of three curtains on a single continuous rail, fully across each main cabin side. This way, the curtains fold neatly at the ends and in the center between the ports, avoiding any "leakage" through the ports. With the rains we have been having, I felt it prudent to install them in this manner. The head and the vanity areas have two curtains each which also pull to the sides.
The admiral is making new curtains for our newly purchased '84. We decided to make a separate curtain and track for each window, rather than having the same curtain and track cover two windows, but it's just a matter of personal choice. The old curtains covered two windows with one long track. We plan to use tracks and snap tape from Sailrite.
I too have the single long rod down both windows. I gave some thought into making new curtains, but I opted to go in a little different direction. I had an automobile window tinting guy come out and tint my windows. I took the curtains and rods down, (now I don't hit my head on those da%m things anymore). The tint has worked out very well. Cuts down on the sunlight during the day and keeps things a bit cooler. The tint guy told me I could probably expect better wear life out of my cushions as well. I like it because it makes the boat look a little sleaker if that's a word) from the outside and I used a tint that is VERY dark from the outside for privacy (limo tint, I think he called it)
