Going over the instructions for joining the association there is a directive to mail the confirmation page with a check to the main office.

I used paypal to pay my dues. Is mailing the confirmation page still necessary?

No, it is not. When you clicked the Submit button, the registration information was sent via email to our database management firm. PayPal also sent a payment confirmation to the firm, so the two were reconciled immediately.

The purpose of mailing the form with a payment by check is to facilitate reconciling the check with the previously received registration email.
