The shoes don't have to say 'boat' on them. If you mean sneaker type boat shoes you can go to any store, just check the tread to be sure it has a good grip and is white. I've got a nice pair of Harken's that I hardly ever use. Mostly wear my Costco, 15 buck shoes.

Hi Paul, I just assumed that a "Boat" shoe does not leave marks regardles of the color. I have a closet full of old white bottomed tenny runners. Cheers.
