Just about every year I race the Bay Week Regatta at Put-in-Bay. It a regatta that takes place around the Islands in Lake Erie.
Most of you have seen me refer to Tsunami, the Evelyn 32 (named before the recent tsunami disaster) and are probably sick of hearing about it. But the boat actually made Sailing World. I am not on the boat at the time - as this was my first year off in a while for the regatta, but If you look at the picture in the upper left corner of page 43 Sailing World April 2006 you'll see a picture of the boat. If you read the caption, you will see that they came in Sixth, If you read the story, it sounds like each fleet only had six boats. If you look at the results you see there were actually 8. Either way, it wasn't a good finish.....must have been because I sat that one out...or so I'd like to think....
